My journey to becoming a teacher started with hating school! I left home in 1991 at 16 with a High School Diploma and something to prove. The years on my own taught me that nature, knowledge and discipline would have to be my healthcare plan. This carried me through over 30 more years of life, accumulating knowledge and lived experience until now, when I feel ready to share.
From the mosh pits and skateboarding of the 90's to mountain boarding, kitesurfing and rock climbing thru the 2000's to now I have always pushed the edge with sport. I understand the pain and soreness. I understand the stiffness.
It's this understanding that educates my physical practice. I have been there.
It was the loss of my son Donovan in 2023 that compelled me to dedicate my life to service in his honor. It is what also informs my grief work. As I live and cope with this, I share my experience and understanding, as well as deep research into ways to deal with grief naturally and successfully.
